International Event Planner

More than 11 years of experience in event planning – from venue finding to onsite!

Being part of MYT Events since 2012 has given me invaluable insight in the running of regional, national and international events at different scales (from small meetings to events for over 1,000).

My experience in events has reaffirmed my belief in the importance of skills like communication, teamwork, relationship building and timely decision making not only in the event world, but also in life!

My core competencies & interests are online registration, event websites and event apps creation. I also enjoy sponsor & exhibitor management (includes branding & social).

SSI Assistant Instructor Trainer

More than 8 years scuba diving  & I am absolutely obsessed with teaching it!

Scuba diving gave me the opportunity to discover my own abilities, excitements and fears and also to explore places and people that have left a huge mark in my life and in my heart.

Since my arrival in Pura Vida Lanzarote in 2018, I have learnt more about scuba diving and life than words can describe.  The team, the positive vibes, the desire to do the best for our students, the place, Lanzarote… are just a few things to begin with!

In Pura Vida we are very fortunate to have our students and friends learning with us, sharing our dreams with us & enjoying life with us!

In not so brief

“Share your knowledge. It is a way to achieve immortality.” Dalai Lama XIV

For my first 20 years my life sounded with the rock’n’roll spirit of my family business. The business was dedicated to import and distribution of musical instruments of legendary brands like Fender, Gretsch, Jackson, Roland..well and many more! Taking part in the business allowed me to get a first hand life experience not only in the musical industry, but also in running a business – from hiring people to warehouse stock management.

In 2010 I moved to the UK as part of my University studies and as part of these I completed an internship for Fender. University was a great place to expand my ability to speak English and also to meet people with my interests. I met some of my closest friends even to date there.

During my last year in Uni my life changed course and I became part of Maximize Your Time and I am still a very proud part of it! When I started we ran mainly smaller, more local events. Only 4 years later we organised a very successful event in South Africa for 1,200 delegates and with the Liberian president as keynote speaker!

In 2013 another adventure started. I did my first scuba dive ever and I fell in love with scuba diving. A year later I did my Open Water and by day 3 I knew I wanted not only to dive, but to teach scuba diving.

A year later I took a sabbatical from Maximize Your Time and in 2 months I did my SSI Divemaster in Greece. I couldn’t stop diving, I couldn’t stop enjoying sharing this beautiful experience, I wanted to teach better and I wanted to get more people to see the beautiful underwater world.

Since 2015 with the support of my mentor Janine (MD, MYT) I got the opportunity to enjoy event organising while teaching scuba diving from my office on the beach in Greece. I was also fast learning how to setup Event Websites & Apps, payment systems and many other technological puzzles related to event organising.

Translations came into play in 2015 as I got to work closer with SSI. I realised how needed these translations were when I saw my first Bulgarian student reading the content of the digital material we had just uploaded that same morning. I had made scuba diving more accessible!

Fast forward, since 2016 I travelled to South Africa, Nepal, India, Indonesia, Tanzania and lived in Greece, Bulgaria, UK, Italy.  I am now living in Lanzarote, Spain and I am still enjoying a time shared shared between the underwater and the “overwater” worlds.
